Kala Kirti

Our story

Kala Kirti started as an Instagram page — a few photographs of work made at a kitchen table, posted mostly to see whether anyone else would care. People did, and the DMs turned into orders faster than we could keep track of them in a notebook.

This shop exists so you can just buy the thing. Everything you see is made in small batches by the same pair of hands, in the same styles our families have been working in for generations: Madhubani line work, Warli figures, Jaipur blue pottery, Bagru block prints.

Because it's handmade, no two pieces are identical. A brush stroke sits differently, a glaze pools in one corner. That's the point — if you want two objects that match perfectly, a machine will serve you better than we can.

Orders are packed within two working days and shipped across India. If something arrives damaged, send us a photo and we'll replace it. No forms, no arguing.

Questions? Email kalakirtiiii@gmail.com or DM us — a person reads both.
